3 Months Old - Crystal Lake, IL Children's Photographer

C* just turned 3 months old this past week. He was such a easy baby to take pictures of. He has 2 older siblings and you can just see how much they love him. He was the happiest/smiley baby ever. C* is just way too cute with his bright blue eyes!!

Brothers/Plainfield, IL Children's Photographer

These brothers were so cute. They both had such beautiful eyes/lashes. The 2 year old was having so much fun playing that we opted to go outside and dig in the dirt for his picture.

This was the most fun! There were lots of giggles at this shoot. Miss H* is pretty special to Liz. She is the daughter of Liz's cousin. Miss H* is getting ready to celebrate her 1st birthday. Hope her mommy and daddy enjoy the teasers. There are a lot more to come.

1st Holy Communion/Plainfield, IL Children's Photographer

Liz had the opportunity to photograph a former preschool student of hers. Miss K* sure has grown up a lot since her days in preschool. She is getting ready to make her 1st Holy Communion in May and her mom wanted some pictures of her all dressed up. It was so fun reconnecting.

Sisters/Plainfield, IL Children's Photographer

These adorable sisters are also neighbors. They were surprising their mom with pictures for her birthday. Miss T* (the younger girl) has a great big personality. She adores her older sister, Miss K*. It was fun to photograph girls for a change.

Boy oh boys/Plainfield, IL Children's Photographer

Liz had the priviledge to photograph our neighbor's adorable little boys (3 and 18months). The 3 year old got into after a bit, but it took a little longer for the 18month old to warm up. They are such cuties. Photos by Liz

Our Suggestion on Clothing...

Here are some helpful suggestions:
  • Keep it simple! Solid colors are best. Dark colors, blues, earth tones, and soft pastels are always good choices.
  • Avoid clothing that has wording or large logos on it.
  • Try to be consistent with everyone in the group. Use the same color or tone for each person. A good rule is to choose each person's clothing and lay it all out together. Then, take a careful look at the selection. If your eyes are drawn to any one item in particular, you can be certain the same thing will happen in a photograph.
  • We recommend classic styles. Your portraits are meant to be enjoyed for generations to come. Trendy clothing will out date your portrait quickly.
  • Make certain shoes are in keeping with the visual intent of the portrait. Your full body will show in the photographs. Barefoot works great outdoors, as long as everyone in the photograph is barefoot.
  • For naked baby pictures, please put the diaper on loosely before we arrive. Diaper red marks take time to fade away.
